New Delhi: There is big news related to people traveling to Jammu and Kashmir. Vande Bharat train may run from Delhi to Srinagar soon. Soon the train route will connect Delhi to Kanyakumari and Srinagar. The Railways aims to complete the project before December 31, so that the Vande Bharat train can run from Delhi to Kashmir on the occasion of Republic Day.

What is preparation?

The most difficult part of the Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla rail link is Banihal, on which 111 km of rail track has been laid. According to the Railways, if the work continues in this way, Prime Minister Modi can inaugurate the Vande Bharat train from Delhi to Srinagar on the occasion of Republic Day.

Let us tell you that to boost the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir, CM Omar Abdullah recently met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and focused on increasing local revenue to reduce dependence on the Centre. The meeting was also important as the ruling National Conference-led government is about to present its first budget after six years of central rule.

CM Abdullah recently met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and a day before that he also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Chief Minister held separate meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Energy Minister Manohar Lal in the second last week of October.
