Trump threatens to bomb nominated cabinet members, FBI opens investigation

Washington: Ahead of US President-elect Trump’s swearing-in, several of his Cabinet-level nominees and top administration appointees, including their family members, have been receiving threats. Threat makers have warned to blow them all up with bombs. Due to which there has been a commotion in America. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, the FBI has started an investigation. A spokeswoman for President-elect Donald Trump made the announcement Wednesday about receiving threats against nominated members of the Trump Cabinet and others.

He said law enforcement agencies have acted against those threats. Spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt said nominated and appointed members have been receiving threats for 2 days. Law enforcement and other officials took immediate action to ensure the safety of the targeted people. Now this matter is being investigated as to who are the threats to Trump’s cabinet? (language)

The FBI said it had received reports of multiple bomb threats and shootings. The agency has taken all the matters seriously and started investigation. Elise Stefanik, one of Trump’s cabinet nominees, said she received a bomb threat at her residence in New York. She was on her way home from Washington DC with her husband and children when she received such an alert. Ellis has been nominated by Trump to be the US ambassador to the United Nations.
