Washington: The newly elected US President Donald Trump has started preparations for his grand swearing-in ceremony after his historic victory. He will take oath on 20 January 2025. To this end, Trump has formed a committee to plan his inauguration ceremony and other events. The committee will give suggestions on taking all necessary steps for Trump’s grand celebration and present a complete blueprint for the same.
In the recent presidential election in the country, Trump has won a landslide victory. He has been elected as the 47th President of the country. So far he has got 312 electoral votes. While only 270 electoral votes are required to become President. Donald Trump will replace outgoing President Joe Biden. The ‘Trump Vance Inauguration Committee’ will host the swearing-in ceremony and will be co-chaired by Trump’s close friend Steve Witkoff and Senator Kelly Loeffler.
Trump said – the public gave extraordinary respect
“On election night we made history and I have the extraordinary honor of being elected the 47th President of the United States,” Trump said. Credit goes to the millions of hard-working Americans across the country who supported our ‘America First’ agenda.” He said the committee would organize a celebration of this great victory. “This will be the beginning of my administration that will deliver on its promises to make America great again,” Trump said.
