Washington: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and S Jaishankar held bilateral talks on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit in Fuji. After this, both the leaders shared pictures of the meeting on their social media accounts. Blinken has said that America and India are strong countries working together. He said during the G7 Summit in Fuji, Italy on Tuesday, External Affairs Minister S. Said this in a post on ‘X’ after meeting Jaishankar.
Blinken wrote, “America and India are strong countries working together. “Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and I discussed the importance of our continued close cooperation in promoting global security and prosperity when we met in Italy today.” He also shared a photo of the meeting.

Jaishankar also posted about the meeting on ‘X’ and said that he discussed with Blinken the global situation and the Indo-US partnership, which is progressing steadily. After the meeting, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “The United States looks forward to continuing to work closely with India to address global security challenges.” Briefing about the meeting, Miller said Blinken and Jaishankar reaffirmed the US and India’s enduring commitment to deepen bilateral ties.
