President-elect Donald Trump announced his picks for two key national security roles on Friday.
Alex Wong will serve as deputy National Security Adviser. Wong previously served as deputy special representative for North Korea during Trump’s first term. “He helped negotiate my summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un,” Trump said in a statement.
Trump has appointed Sebastian Gorka as a senior White House director. According to Trump, Gorka has more than 30 years of experience in national security.
