US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says, ‘India, America are stronger when they work together’

New Delhi: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Tuesday that India and United States Both nations are stronger together. He shared these views after meeting External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar during the G7 summit in Fiumicino, Italy.
Blinken told X, “The US and India are stronger when we work together. Dr. S. Jaishankar, India’s Foreign Minister, and I met today in Italy and discussed the importance of our continued close cooperation to promote Global security and prosperity.”
After their discussion, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “The United States intends to continue to work closely with India to address global security challenges.”

The dialogue between Blinken and Jaishankar reinforced both nations’ dedication to enhancing their bilateral ties, as noted in Miller’s official summary of the meeting.
Blinken said in a separate post on X, “We are working with our Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific allies to address global security challenges, including PRC and DPRK support for Russia. Together, we can create a freer and promoting an open India. on the Taiwan Strait, the Korean Peninsula and the Pacific in the South China Sea.”

Sharing earlier on X, Jaishankar also shared details of their discussions, including global affairs and the progressive India-US partnership.
The Indian foreign minister also held important talks with his counterparts from the US, South Korea, Japan and Italy at the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting.
