AOI

AQI, i.e. Air Quality Index, tells how bad or how clean the air is in a particular place. According to data from the Delhi Pollution Control Committee in the national capital, air quality has recently dipped to dangerous levels.

What are grapes?

GRAP has been formed to reduce and control air pollution in Delhi-NCR. Its full form is the Graded Response Action Plan. Under this, controls are imposed to reduce pollution at various stages of air pollution. When the AQI crosses 200, the first phase of the GRAP comes into play. When the AQI crosses 300, the second phase is implemented and when the AQI crosses 400, the third phase of GRP is implemented.

Particulate Matter (PM Particles)

Some particles, such as dust, dirt, soot or smoke, are so large or black that they can be seen with the naked eye. Others are so small that they can only be seen using an electron microscope.
