Why did China announce the deployment of troops in Pakistan, know what will be the problem for India with this step of Beijing?

Beijing: Meanwhile, India and China may have taken steps to de-escalate the 4-year-old simmering tension along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, but an announcement from Beijing has again raised India’s concerns. In fact China has suddenly announced to deploy its troops for security in Pakistan. Sources say that Beijing is going to deploy PLA troops in Pakistan on the pretext of protecting its citizens.

A few days ago, several Chinese citizens were killed in a car bomb blast in Karachi. Following this, Beijing is pressuring Pakistan to allow its own security personnel to provide security to thousands of Chinese nationals working in the South Asian nation, in what is seen as a major security breach. Last month, two Chinese engineers were killed in a bomb blast at the airport in Pakistan’s southern port city, the latest in a series of attacks on Beijing’s interests in Pakistan. The soldiers were returning to work on a project after a holiday in Thailand.

China cursed Pakistan

Such attacks and Islamabad’s failure to prevent them have angered China, prompting Pakistan to open formal talks on a joint security management system. Reuters spoke to five Pakistani security and government sources with direct knowledge of previously unreported talks and demands, on condition of anonymity, and reviewed the written proposal sent by Beijing to Islamabad. It has been said that China wants to bring its security personnel to Pakistan. However, an official said that Pakistan is yet to agree to such a move.

What will be the concern for India?

If Chinese troops are deployed in neighboring Pakistan, it will increase India’s security concerns. He can spy on Indian military under the pretext of posting in Pakistan. This will not be good for India’s security. So India’s concern has started to increase with this announcement of China. However, India has already been alerted in this matter. A written proposal sent by Beijing to Islamabad to Pakistani security agencies contained a clause allowing security agencies and military forces to be sent to each other’s territory to assist in counter-terrorism operations and conduct joint strikes. An official said the remittance would be made after discussions, but Pakistani agencies are against the proposal. (Reuters)
