iPhone 17 Slim can be the world’s thinnest smartphone. Apple is going to launch this ultra slim smartphone next year. The company is going to discontinue one of its models in the iPhone 17 series, replacing it with a slim model. Apple’s iPhone will be only 6mm thick. However, according to earlier reports, this phone may be launched as iPhone 17 Air. This slim iPhone can replace the iPhone 16 series Plus model released this year.
The world’s thinnest smartphone
According to Apple analyst Jeff Poo, this ultra slim model of Apple will be very thin. Before this, Apple’s thinnest iPhone was launched about 10 years ago. All iPhones launched before iPhone 6 ranged in thickness from 7.6mm to 12.3mm. The thickness of the latest iPhone 16 series ranges from 7.8mm to 8.25mm. The company may use an aluminum body in its upcoming iPhone 17 series, which will make it thinner as well as lighter. However, only titanium will be used in the Pro model.
iPhone 17 Features Slim/Air (Possible)
The iPhone 17 Slim/Air may feature a 6.6-inch display. Apart from this, the company may use A19 Bionic chipset with 3nm technology. 8GB RAM can be used in the upcoming iPhone 17 series. Apart from these features, the company is going to give a big upgrade to the selfie camera of this phone. The iPhone 17 Slim/Air to be launched next year may have a 24MP selfie camera, which will be better than the current 12MP.
The company may offer only one camera on the back of the iPhone 17 Slim/Air. The phone may come with a new design compared to other models of the regular iPhone 17 series. A 48MP camera sensor may be provided at the back of the phone. Apart from this, Face ID support can also be found in the phone. Along with the new design, the AI feature can also be found in the upcoming iPhone 17 Slim/Air. It is being claimed that Apple may launch its cheapest iPhone globally in September next year.
