You were busy watching IND vs SA, when the Kiwi cricketer pulled off a miracle in Sri Lanka.

A 2 match T20I series is being played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Sri Lanka won the first match of this series by 4 wickets. Now in the second match both the teams are facing each other. New Zealand bowler Lockie Ferguson has created history in this match. Lockie Ferguson has done such a feat against Sri Lanka which was seen 5 years ago in a T20I match between New Zealand vs Sri Lanka. In fact, Lockie Ferguson created a stir by taking a hat-trick by hunting down 3 Sri Lankan batsmen in 3 consecutive balls. Lasith Malinga did the same feat 5 years ago.

Lockie Ferguson dismissed Kusal Perera on the last ball of the sixth over of Sri Lanka’s innings. And then he achieved a hat-trick by sending Kusal Mendis to the pavilion on the first ball of the eighth over and captain Charith Aslanka to the pavilion on the second ball. He thus became the 5th bowler from New Zealand to take a hat-trick in T20I cricket. Earlier, Jacob Oram, Tim Southee (2 times), Michael Bracewell and Matt Henry achieved this feat.
