IP address in-calls feature
In this instant messaging platform of Meta, there is a feature called Protect IP Address in Calls. After enabling this feature, your location cannot be tracked during a call. This feature provides an extra layer of security for WhatsApp communication.
Enable it like this
- To enable this feature, first launch WhatsApp on your phone.
- Now tap on the three dots at the top of the home page.
- After this go to settings and privacy feature of WhatsApp.
- Here you will find the option of Advanced. Tap on it and proceed.
- In the next window you will find the option to protect IP address in-calls.
- Turn on this feature.
By doing this, your IP address will be hidden from the receiver during the call. This will stop location tracking.
