Yunus government’s oppression continues in Bangladesh, now Sheikh Hasina’s speeches are banned

Dhaka: The atrocities of Mohammad Yunus’ government continue in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the special court has banned the publication of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s speeches. Sheikh Hasina was ousted in August after massive protests across the country. After resigning from the post of PM, he took refuge in India. The decision comes a day after Hasina delivered her first public speech in a virtual address to supporters of her Awami League party in New York.

Sheikh Hasina accused Bangladesh’s interim leader, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, of committing genocide and failing to protect minorities, particularly Hindus. Sheikh Hasina resigned after large-scale uprisings in July and August and returned to India after being deposed. Hundreds of protesters were killed and thousands injured in the demonstration. Several cases have been registered against Sheikh Hasina holding her responsible for this death.
