The police investigated the case seriously. Police said that recently death threats were made to Salman Khan and another singer at the Traffic Control Room of the Mumbai Police. The singer and Salman Khan, who penned the song ‘Main Sikandar Hoon’ on YouTube, were named in a threat sent to the Traffic Control Room of the Mumbai Police a few days ago, police said. Besides this, a demand of 5 crores was also made. After which the police started investigation. During the investigation in this case, the police found that the number from which the threat was sent was registered in the name of a person named Venkatesh Narayan.
Even the owner of the number was not aware of this matter
After that, a team of Mumbai Police reached Karnataka in search of the accused. When Venkatesh’s phone was checked, it was found that he was using a normal phone, which did not have WhatsApp installed. After this the police noticed that an OTP was received on the phone to install WhatsApp. Venkatesh told the police that he (Venkatesh) had gone to the market one day and an unknown person asked him for his mobile phone to make a call. After this, Venkatesh gave him his phone and the person activated WhatsApp on Venkatesh’s number.
The accused caught in the clutches
After this, when the police proceeded with their investigation, the accused were caught. The police then started investigating the accused and found that he was the same person who had been threatened along with Salman Khan. He jokingly threatened himself and Salman.
Police have arrested the main accused in this case from Karnataka itself. The police further said that the name of the accused is Sohail Pasha. The age of the accused is 24 years. The police registered a case under several sections of the Indian Judicial Code and arrested the accused.
