New Orleans: The American city of New Orleans echoed with the sound of bullets. Two people have been killed, while 10 people are said to have been injured in firing at two separate places here. The first case is from the St. Roch area, where 9 people have been injured. Another case is Almonaster Avenue Bridge. Two people were killed in the firing here, while one person was injured. Giving information about the incident, the police said that no one has been arrested yet. The case is being investigated.
The first incident took place in the St. Roch area
Briefing about the firing incidents, officials said that no one has been arrested in connection with both the cases yet. According to a press release from the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting was reported in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans just after 3:30 p.m. The police team reached the spot on receiving the information about the firing. The police found eight people injured there. It was reported that all the eight people have been admitted to the hospital. Apart from this, an injured person reached there in a private car.
45 minutes later another firing took place
45 minutes later, police received information about another incident of firing at the ‘Almonaster Avenue Bridge’. Police said one person died on the spot, while the other died during treatment at the hospital. A third victim was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle and is in stable condition, police said. Police said no arrests have been made in either incident. No information is available on any suspects related to the case. The police said that the matter is being investigated. (Input- Agency)
