In which Maxwell’s brilliant innings of 43 runs from 19 balls with the help of 5 fours and three sixes was seen, on the basis of which he managed to complete his 10 thousand runs in T20 cricket.
Maxwell became the third player to achieve this feat for Australia.
Glenn Maxwell has now become the third Australian player to score 10 thousand or more runs in T20 cricket. Before Maxwell, this figure was achieved for Australia by David Warner and Aaron Finch. Warner has so far scored 12411 runs in T20 cricket, while Finch has scored 11458 runs with his bat, followed by Glenn Maxwell who has scored a total of 10031 runs in T20 cricket. Maxwell made his T20 debut in the year 2010, where he reached the 10,000 run mark in his 421st innings, averaging around 28 with a strike rate of 154. Maxwell has also scored 7 centuries and 54 fifties in T20 cricket.
Chris Gayle has scored the most runs in T20 so far
