Imran’s announcement to ‘break the shackles of slavery’, storms in Pakistan; Security at every corner in Islamabad

Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ (PTI) has once again sounded the trumpet of a major movement in the country. Due to which there has been a commotion in Pakistan. Imran Khan has given this message that he will no longer tolerate the shackles of slavery and will uproot it. Due to this, the government has made strict security arrangements in view of the proposed demonstration in Islamabad on Sunday.

Imran Khan has called on the public to unite to “break the shackles of slavery”. The Pakistani government on Saturday blocked highways leading to the national capital, partially suspended internet and mobile services and halted public transport and erected containers to block important roads to prevent PTI protests in Islamabad. Along with this, a large number of security forces have also been deployed. ,

Intention to oppose PTI

The PTI leadership has unanimously decided that the protest will be held on Sunday as planned and will not be postponed or called off before the objective is achieved. According to a Geo News report, PTI leaders held a high-level meeting at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday to decide the strategy of the protest. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said he would reach Swabi at 3 pm to inspect preparations for the proposed protest and lead the party’s march towards Islamabad, the report said.

The Chief Minister has also directed the party workers willing to join the march to reach Swabi by 3 pm. PTI is going to protest for the second time in two months. Ignoring the government’s call to suspend the protests, the party has announced a move towards Islamabad. At the same time, the authorities have issued a warning of possible danger during this demonstration. Imran Khan’s party announced a long march to Islamabad last week for its three demands. The party is demanding the release of jailed Khan and other leaders, recognition of PTI’s victory in the February 8 election and repeal of the 26th constitutional amendment. The 26th Constitutional Amendment changed the process of appointment of judges and the Chief Justice.

Warning of terrorist palace in Pakistan

According to a report by Pakistani news channel ‘Express News TV’, the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has issued a warning of a possible terrorist attack during the PTI demonstration in Islamabad. It warned that PTI’s public meeting could be targeted by terrorists. Section 144 has been in force since November 18 in Islamabad, under which people cannot assemble. On the other hand, the Punjab government has also imposed Section 144 across the province from November 23 to November 25, banning protests, public meetings, rallies and sit-ins. Despite tight security and restrictions, the PTI is adamant about protesting for its demands. (language)
