Deir al-Bala: The Israeli army has launched a devastating airstrike on Gaza. 46 people have been killed in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip in this airstrike. Of the 46 people who lost their lives in Gaza, 11 were present in a makeshift cafeteria in the area. In Lebanon, on Tuesday, warplanes attacked the southern suburbs of Beirut and killed 33 people in other parts of the country.
The latest Israeli bombings come as the US has said it will not cut its military aid to Israel even after a deadline to send more humanitarian aid to Gaza passes. A large explosion was heard in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The area is known as Dahiyah and is believed to have a Hezbollah presence here. Earlier, the Israeli army had warned to evacuate 11 houses there. There was no immediate information on the death toll.
The hospital was also attacked
Officials at Gaza’s Nasir Hospital said at least 11 people, including two children, were killed in the attack on the cafeteria. An attack on a house in the northern Gaza city of Beit Hanun on Tuesday killed 15 people, officials said, including relatives of Al Jazeera journalist Hossam Shabat, who was reporting from the northern area. Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safia, said that Mohammad Shabat, his wife Dima and daughter Ilia, who worked as a doctor, were killed in the attack.
