Kanye West has been sued for allegedly sexually assaulting model Jennifer Ann, a contestant on ‘America’s Next Top Model’, during a 2010 music video shoot. The shooting reportedly took place around September 7, 2010 at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The model alleged in the lawsuit that Kanye West had models including her lined up in a hallway and said “give me the Asian girl” in relation to her, which made her feel uncomfortable, Page Six reported.
The model said she was only wearing lingerie at the time and told West she didn’t wear much, telling West “that’s why I chose you”. Then they went to a bed with a camera in front of it.
On camera, Kanye West began strangling her with one arm and then “wrapped his other arm around her neck and continued to strangle her with both hands”. West cupped her face, smearing her makeup with both hands. “He then inserted several fingers into her throat, repeatedly moved them in and out, and choked her … to simulate forced oral sex,” the complaint further alleged.
“This is art. This is f**king art. I’m like Picasso,” Kanye West said as he forced himself onto the model. As she tried to remove her tongue from West’s “gyrating hand,” according to the suit, she “began to panic, and looked around the set, hoping to see anyone who might interfere.”
Kanye West has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
Model, through the lawsuit, seeks an unspecified amount of damages, and, according to the complaint, alleged that West violated New York’s federal laws for second degree, sexually motivated crime and assault. She said she faced trauma, felt extremely humiliated, humiliated, victimized, ashamed and emotionally distressed.
