An initiative has been scheduled in Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway.
After retirement, many older persons often face challenges in accessing their pension. Their pension payments may be delayed or stopped for unknown reasons, forcing them to visit multiple offices in search of a solution. To address this issue, Indian Railways has set up dedicated Pension Courts to help retired railway employees redress such grievances effectively.
These Pension Courts will be set up in various Railway Divisions, which will provide a centralized platform to address pension related concerns. An initiative has been organized in Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway on December 16 from 11 am to 5 pm. Retired employees and dependents of deceased employees associated with North Central Railway Headquarters at Prayagraj can use this opportunity to resolve issues related to pending pension or superannuation dues.
Purpose:
The initiative aims to simplify the process for retired employees, ensuring that they no longer have to navigate the complexities of pension-related bureaucracy. Similar pension courts will be instituted in other departments as well, and pensioners will be able to keep informed about upcoming sessions through their respective departments. It is important to note that during that session only the grievances of the retired employees attached to the Department having Pension Court will be addressed.
