New Noida will be part of the dedicated Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), which will include the land of around 20 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and 60 villages in Bulandshahr, covering an area roughly equivalent to Noida. New Noida will be developed in phases, with the first phase to be completed by 2027, covering 3,165 hectares. Subsequent phases will expand the city to 3,798 hectares by 2032, 5,908 hectares by 2037 and 8,230 hectares by 2041. In October, the state government approved the Master Plan 2041 for the project. As per the plan, 40% of the acquired land will be earmarked for industrial development, 13% for residential areas, 18% for greenery and recreational spaces, 4% for commercial use, 8% for public institutions and the rest. Assigned to other projects.
The area has been identified as a prime area for investment in the first phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The region is connected to other parts of the state and the country by road and rail. Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Area and Noida International Airport are located around it. Officials say these areas have an advanced road network, modern infrastructure and better residential, commercial and recreational facilities, making the region ideal for investment. New Noida will also be connected to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), an important transport link for DMIC.
