Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has defended her brother after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) called Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi a ‘traitor’. Priyanka Gandhi on Friday said that whatever people in the ruling party say, it does not matter to her as nothing is more important to her brother than the country.
There is nothing new in this
The Congress MP said that for those who can call Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who spent 13 years in jail for the country’s independence, and Indira Gandhi, who divided Pakistan into two, ‘traitors’, it makes no sense to use the term for Rahul Gandhi. It is not new. With this, Priyanka Gandhi said that if they say this about Rahul Gandhi, then there is nothing new in it.
I am proud of my brother Priyanka
Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘I am very proud of my brother, for him nothing is bigger than the country. He traveled eight thousand kilometers for the unity of the country, of which four thousand kilometers were on foot. Targeting the BJP, Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘Whatever these people say, it doesn’t matter.’
BJP made this allegation on Rahul Gandhi
Let us tell you that BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra on Thursday alleged that Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has links with international forces including investigative media which are trying to destabilize India. Along with this, the BJP leader said that Rahul Gandhi is a traitor.
