The country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Constitution Day today. A Congress program was held in Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium regarding this. Rahul Gandhi was addressing the program when his mic suddenly stopped. On which Congress leaders and workers started uproar. Rahul’s mic was off for a long time, when it got fixed he said no matter how many times you turn off the mic, I will keep talking.
I will keep speaking – Rahul Gandhi
Rahul further said that whoever talks about Dalits and backward people, their mic is turned off. No matter how many mics you turn off, I’ll keep talking. During the program, Rahul Gandhi again reiterated the demand for caste enumeration. He said that none of the country’s top industrialists belong to the Dalit, Backward or Tribal communities.
Caste census will be conducted
Rahul said that recently we have started work related to caste enumeration in Telangana. The questions of the state asked in this have been decided together by the Dalits, the backward people and the poor. It means that the people of Telangana have prepared the caste census format. This is a historic step. Wherever our government is, we will take caste census on the same pattern.
‘Prime Minister has not read the constitution’
He further said that the Constitution shows the path of non-violence. Constitution is a book of truth and non-violence. The Constitution does not allow violence. He said that wherever our government comes we will conduct caste census. If the share of backward classes is more then why their participation is less? He further said that I assure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not read the constitution book. The Constitution is not just a book, it is the thinking of India for thousands of years. It has the voice of great people like Gandhiji, Ambedkarji, Bhagwan Buddha, Phuleji, but not the voice of Savarkarji.
