Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson had a great tour of South Africa. On this tour, he scored 2 brilliant centuries in 4 T20I matches and was instrumental in helping Team India win the series 3–1. Sanju has scored 3 centuries in the last 5 innings. This gives an idea of how dangerous Sanju is in form. Sanju Samson has been made Kerala’s captain to capitalize on this superb form. Sanju Syed will lead Kerala in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament will be played from November 23 to December 15. He recently played the Ranji Trophy under the captaincy of Sachin Baby. India do not need to play any limited-overs matches until January, making Samson available to their squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. The Indian Test team is currently touring Australia for the five-match Border-Gavaskar series.
Sanju scored many runs
Talking about Samson, the wicketkeeper batsman has scored three centuries in his last five T20Is. He scored two consecutive centuries against Bangladesh and South Africa before ending the tour of South Africa with a century. He scored a century in the third and final T20I match against Bangladesh and then created new history by scoring a brilliant century in the first T20I match on the tour of South Africa. He thus became the first Indian to score two consecutive T20I centuries. Although after this he was dismissed for 2 wickets in a row but managed to end the series with a century.
