The Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of School Education has suspended the headmaster in charge of Jammu Government High School Chak Jafar pending an inquiry into his conduct.
According to an official order issued today, a copy with the NVI reads Ms. Vandana Sharma, the suspension is in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
It reads that, during the period of suspension, she will be attached to the office of the Chief Education Officer, Jammu.
Presumably, the decision follows a letter from the Chief Education Officer Jammu on November 27, which initiated the suspension process. More details regarding the inquiry are awaited.
