The 17th edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the biggest T20 tournament in Indian domestic cricket, will begin on November 23. A total of 38 teams are participating in the tournament this time, which have been divided into different groups. If we talk about the big players in the tournament, apart from Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammad Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal will be seen playing a significant part of the Indian T20 team. The upcoming IPL 2025 is also included in the mega auction. In such a situation, this tournament becomes very important for all these players. In which its first match will be played between the defending champions Punjab and Bengal on the ground of Rajkot.
Mumbai will face Goa
Shreyas Iyer will be seen captaining the Mumbai team in this tournament, in which his first match will be against the Goa team. All the 38 teams playing the Ranji Trophy are divided into 5 different groups, with 8 teams in 3 groups and 7 teams in 2 groups. The Tamil Nadu team, who have won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the most number of times, has been placed in Group-B.

Group E – Goa, Mumbai, Kerala, Services, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Andhra.
When, where and how can you watch the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match live on mobile and TV?
While the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches are starting from 23rd November, the knockout matches will be played from 3rd December while the final match will be played on 15th December.
