Team India registered a historic win against South Africa, winning the series 3-1

Captained by Suryakumar Yadav, India scored 135 runs in the last match of the four-match T20 series against South Africa to win the series 3–1. In the last match of this T20 series played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bat first, in which Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma scored an unbeaten century. Chasing the target, the African team was limited to 148 runs in 18.2 overs. In bowling, Arshdeep Singh took the most 3 wickets from the Indian team.

South Africa’s heaviest defeat in a T20 International

Under the captaincy of Eden Markram, the South African team performed very poorly in both batting and bowling in this T20 series, with the bowlers of the African team badly beaten in the last match of the series, in which Team India reached a score of 283. While he managed to reach the target, he managed to score only 148 runs while chasing the target, which got him off to a poor start. Africa lost their first four wickets for just 10 runs. This is South Africa’s heaviest defeat in T20 international cricket history so far. Before this, they had to face defeat by 111 runs against Australia last year. At the same time, this is India’s third biggest win in terms of run differential in T20 Internationals.

Samson and Tilak were at the forefront with the bat while Chakraborty was at the forefront with the bowling.

In this series, Tilak scored 280 runs in four innings with the bat at an average of 140, while Sanju also managed to score 216 runs at an average of 72 in this series. Apart from this, in bowling, Varun Chakraborty took a total of 12 wickets in four matches at an average of 11.50 while Arshdeep Singh also managed to take 8 wickets.
