IPL 2025 Auction: A series of T20 Internationals is currently being played between India and South Africa. Gerald Kotjia scored 19 runs in just 9 balls
In the second T20 match played against Team India, Gerald Kotjia played a big role in helping his team win. Victory seemed far away when South Africa’s seven batsmen were bowled out for just 86 runs. Although Tristan Stubbs was playing at one end, his work alone was not enough to lead the team to victory. At the same time, Kotjia batted brilliantly. He played a stormy innings of 19 runs off just 9 balls. It consists of two fours and one long six. He scored runs at a strike rate of 211 and led his team to victory.
Teams are looking for a player in the IPL who can help shape the match with the batting as well as coming in the last over when needed. Gerald Kotjia did something similar and now he has become the target of IPL teams. This time too it will be auctioned at a base price of just Rs 2 crore and can be bought at a very high price.
