Once again news of a heart-wrenching tragedy is emerging from the hill state of Uttarakhand. A horrific road accident has taken place in the state capital Dehradun. Six people died in a tragic road accident in Dehradun late at night. At the same time, an injured person has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. According to information received so far, an Innova collided with a container, after which the car broke into pieces.
There was an accident at ONGC Chowk
According to the information received so far, 7 people were on board the Innova car that collided with the container. Out of which 6 people have died and 1 is hospitalized. According to the information, the car that suffered the accident was going from Ballupur to Cantt. A car had an accident with a container at ONGC Chowk, after which the car reached a short distance. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Cantt Kotwali police reached the spot and took everyone to the hospital.
Container driver arrested
Dehradun SP City Pramod Kumar has issued a statement regarding the incident. SP City said that the accident took place near ONGC intersection at 2 o’clock last night. The driver of the container that hit the Innova car has been arrested. A passenger who survived is in a critical condition and is being treated in hospital.
The car flew away
According to the information received so far, the collision between the container and the Innova car was so strong that the car flew far away. People are shocked by this terrible accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated. Police are yet to release the names of the 6 dead and 1 injured.
