Statements from the Australian media as well as from many of his former players are constantly coming out regarding this Test series, in which they are targeting Virat Kohli a lot and the biggest reason for this is that Kohli’s excellent record in Tests against Australia is not going well at the moment which is why his form is not going well. The king is returning to his territory

Ravi Shastri while talking about Virat Kohli on ICC’s review show said that I want to say about Australia that the king is returning to his ground. You look at Kohli’s record in Australia and this will be on the mind of the Kangaroos team when he comes out to bat. I think the first few innings of this series will be very important for Kohli as his patience will be very important in the first half hour of batting. If he can stay calm and play at his own pace instead of running I think everything will be fine.

Kohli’s brilliant record will put pressure on the Australian team

Virat Kohli always prefers to play against Australia in any format and his record in Tests too has been excellent. While Kohli has scored 2042 runs in 44 innings of 25 Tests against the Kangaroo team, if we look at his Test record in Australia, he has scored 1352 runs in just 25 innings at an average of 54.08. However, Kohli’s bat has been quiet at the moment, managing just 93 runs in 6 innings in the Test series against New Zealand at home.
