Muslims are shown as terrorists, this is not true

Opponents said it portrays Muslims as terrorists, which is not true. Tirupati has alleged in a post on the social media platform that he is a patriot. “But as the film’s depiction of terrorist activities in Kashmir was not tolerated, fundamentalist organizations threatened against the film’s release, however, the people of Tamil Nadu welcomed the film and made it a huge success.” Unable to digest this, fundamentalist outfits resorted to violence today and hurled petrol bombs outside the cinema hall where the film ‘Amaran’ was being screened, Narayanan said.

People who went to meet the theater owner were detained

According to a Hindu Munnani leader, some members led by the organization’s state vice-president VP Jayakumar went to the theater to console the theater owner, but were detained by the police. “We were stopped at the entrance of the cinema hall,” said a senior official.
