Samsung has introduced a special offer for its users in India. For some time now, users have been complaining about the green line issue in the display of Samsung phones. The company offered one-time free screen replacement to users for this. In this, the company kept Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S21 FE. Now the company has also included its most premium model in this list. Due to this, users will not have to bear the cost of changing the phone screen.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is included in the list
A tipster has shared information about this Samsung offer through social media. Samsung Support has confirmed that the company has now included the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the free screen replacement program in India. Samsung is offering free screen replacement for smartphones that have the green line issue and whose warranty expires on December 31, 2024.
Free screen replacement policy
In the company’s free screen replacement, users will get a replacement of the OCTA i.e. on-cell touch AMOLED assembly. Apart from this, users are also being offered free battery and kit replacement. The company says that the screen will be replaced only on devices that the user has purchased within 3 years, meaning the purchase date of the phone must be after January 1, 2021. Previous devices will not be eligible for this offer.
The company says that users will not be charged for screen and kit replacement. However, label charges and repair costs will be charged to users. Users who are facing the green line issue in their eligible Samsung smartphones can book an appointment at the company’s nearest service center and get the phone screen replaced for free.
However, this is not the first time the South Korean company has offered users a free screen or other part replacement. Earlier in April too, the company had announced a special replacement program. This replacement program was also specifically for those Galaxy devices that were facing the green line issue. It includes Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S22 series.
