US Election 2024: With victory in Arizona, Trump sweeps all swing states, taking these seats from Biden.

Washington: Donald Trump, who achieved a historic victory in the US presidential election, also hoisted the victory flag in the state of Arizona on Saturday. With this win, he has defeated his Democratic Party rival Kamala Harris in all seven key swing states. The seven major swing states in this election were Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. Trump has done a clean sweep in all these 7 states. Also many states have been taken away from Joe Biden.

Now with the victory in Arizona, the number of ‘electoral votes’ of Trump has reached 312. While outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris has received only 226 electoral votes so far. Let us tell you that the state of Arizona has 11 electoral votes. With a clean sweep in all states, the Republican Party has regained control of the Senate and is poised to retain its majority in the House of Representatives. Currently, the party has 52 seats in the Senate. While Democrats have 47 seats. In the House of Representatives, Republicans have so far won 216 seats to the Democrats’ 209. The majority figure is 218. Republicans are confident they will get the seats needed for a majority.
